An underground map! - Fiddly and Darieon

Darieon huffs again, "There must be something, they wouldn't just make a map to nothing ..."

"... maybe" Fiddly takes the map out once more and studies it, holding it so Darieon also has free acces to it "but what?"

Darieon looks closely at the map, "... does it say anything? or show anything?"

"No... only this one mark, otherwise it looks just like a regular map" Fiddly mumbles "right? I don't see anything.." she scans the small crossroad once more

Darien looks thoughtfully at the map and then at the crossroad, "Ya think it needs .. like a codeword or something?"

"Aye, that could be it..." she said and frowned "but how should we even begin to guess that? It's not like there is any clues or anything..."

Darieon frowns and looks at the map again, then he looks at the crossroad, then he looks at the map, "Hrm .." he says and gets up. He walks over to the lantern abd looks at it closely

Fiddly looked up from the map and then at Darieon "mh? Ya find something?"

Darieon frowns and tries to pull at the lantern, "Don't know yet" he answers

The lamp works just like a lever! "WOAH!" Fiddly stumbles backwards as a surprisingly low rumble can be heard. The wall on the opposite side of them (the only Fiddly was leaning against) suddenly opens. Dim light comes from the narrow corridor before them. There is no sound other than the low dripping of green sewer “water”.

"What the..." Fiddly slowly gets up from the ground "nice work Dare!"

Dare grins and smirks, "Of course, it was me who did it" he says and looks at the opening, "Shall we proceed?" and holds out his arm like a fancy gentleman for his lady

"Aye" Fiddly says, the smirk can be heard in her voice.

You make your way down the narrow corridor. It seems to go only one way and that is down. After some solid minutes of walking the lights gets brighter and low voices can be heard.

Darieon frowns and does his best to walk quietly, not to alert the people talking. He looks at Fiddly and nods in the direction of the voices with a questioning look

Fiddly also keeps quiet as she looks in the direction of the voices.. then back at Dare, the same question in her eyes.

Darieon smiles slightly and carefully sneaks closer to the voices

Fiddly follows Darieon. They make their way down to an opening... surely at least two, maybe three voices can be heard from inside the room. But there is no door... they can get a small glimse of the room, wood floors, what seems like legs of a chair.. but going any nearer will surely risk the people in the room seeing them.

Darieon frowns and crouces down, he tries to hear what the people in the room are saying

"What do you mean you don't have it?" a crisp, male voice can be heard from inside the room.

"Just what I said rottenbrain" snarled a woman back, her voice hoarse and low "I couldn't find it. Don't we have enough?"

Fiddly tilts her head in interest.

Darieon listens intently to the conversation

"Don't call me that" the other voice barked back.

The woman chuckled, joyless, "the dragon should be more than enough anyway.. and don't forget who got us that."

Fiddly raised an eyebrow and did her best to keep quiet.

Darieon looked curiously towards Fiddly, then back in the direction of the voices. A dragon? That sounded interesting, and valuable

Fiddly looked back at Darieon with an interested look in her eyes.

"Have you fed it?"

"No. The cursed thing bites."

"... we better sell it soon then. A dead dragon is only worth half the price."

Darieon frowns and looks at Fiddly, then he nods subtley towards the room with a questioning look

Fiddly slowly draws her weapons and nod once.

Darieon draws his gun too and carefully sneaks closer to the room
